So far on Eternal WoW...
Before this turn into "I told you so" tirade, let me say that this is more meant to be reminder and guide line note for everyone in the guild, then "shame on you" slap to those who are falling behind. So let's start:
While we did say, that we are not going to kick in hard core mode, like we did back in the days on Feenix, but since we're, basically, 10ish men guild, we should have some sort of obligation toward each other. And there is a problem in that regard, don't get me wrong there, I respect IRL obligations that every single one of you have, but I also want to create environment which will provide proper raiding experience for those who want it on daily basis. Obviously chasm between real life and game is creating pressure, and to avoid that sort of pressure, we will simply have to recruit more people just so that we can organize at least one if not two 5 men runs per raiding night.
Till now, we seem to have luck with random players from server population, all new recruits seem to be fine guys and dedicated to some degree. However I would not just expect from that luck to carry on. This will be a process of creating consistent raiding core, and what I want you to know is that we will use one simple rule: What you give, is what you get.
To make some sort of firm schedule which we will depend on, we'll start using same calendar rules as we did back on WoW Gate. This means: 4 gearing/raiding nights per week-monday, tuesday, thursday, and sunday, from 20:00 to 23:00 (GMT +1). I believe these are fair times which will provide enough raiding for those who want it, and yet providing enough space for rest and real life stuff. If you disagree with these times or have some suggestions on this topic, post it below. Once we have at least 6 to 8 properly pre-raid geared players we'll put Naxx and Onyxia on calendar.
Cheers,
Sijuan/Pokojnitoza.
